005
005 is a two-way shelf loudspeaker with a bass reflex system. It is equipped with magnetically shielded Peerless drivers, which ensure that there will be no problems with installing the loudspeaker near a CRT TV or screen.
005 contains a 1″ fabric dome tweeter. In order to improve heat abstraction from the voice coil to the magnetic system, when it comes to a high-power signal, magnetic liquid is used. A 5¼” specially-soaked paper cone woofer makes the sound even more natural.
Despite the small size of the cabinet, the lf corner of 005 is at 50 Hz. It gives a possibility to exclude a subwoofer in a budget-friendly variant of a home theatre. The sensitivity of 005 is 90 dB, which is a very high figure for a compact loudspeaker.
